Service Description

Ideal if you have recently moved into a property with an existing stove, fireplace or chimney and have little or no reliable information about its previous use or maintenance. The service includes a professional chimney sweep, visual inspection of accessible parts of the chimney, fireplace and appliance where applicable, and a CCTV camera inspection of accessible areas within the flue. A smoke draw test may also be carried out where appropriate. We will explain our findings, identify any visible safety concerns and advise on maintenance, further investigation or remedial work where necessary. Appropriate sweeping documentation will be provided following the visit. If a serious safety concern is identified, we will explain the issue and, where appropriate, issue a written warning notice. Please note that this service does not normally include roof access or a close external inspection of the chimney stack.
