Service Description

The Sweep & Premium Service for Twin Wall flue system includes a standard sweep to British Standard and checks door seals to ensure airtightness. If they are not, carbon monoxide can escape into the property. This can also hinder the appliance's air supply, making it difficult to control the heat it emits and leading to unnecessary fuel waste. The door's glass will be professionally cleaned and checked for misting/cracks/breakages. Glass brackets will be checked and repaired, if possible, due to degradation. Side, back, and baffle fire bricks will be checked for degradation, cracks, and breaks and repaired if possible. The fire grate will be cleaned and checked for cracks/blockages/damage. The ash pan will be emptied and checked for corrosion (which is especially prevalent when using smokeless fuels). The baffle plate will be checked for cracks, warping, or degradation. The integrity of the appliance will be checked to ensure it is solid, and no apparent cracks have developed. Hinges, lock, and air controls will be checked and lubricated. Spigot and flue pipe re-sealed if needed, The stove body will be professionally dressed. Premium stove care products will be applied. Smoke evacuation test, Carbon monoxide alarm check, and a Sweep Certificate. Please note: *Parts are extra *When the rope seal cannot be repaired, Complete door rope seal replacement can be carried out for an extra fee. *Bird's nest removal is not included.
